Located minutes from Pine Lake in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Beavers Bend State Park hosts a variety of activities for all ages. You and your family can go boating, fishing, horse-back riding, golfing, and outdoor hiking. On October 28, 2019 Beavers Bend State Park opened the new Friends Trail, made possible by the Friends of Beavers Bend, the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department, Scout Troup No. 840, and Hurst Custom Homes. Hurst Custom Homes is the innovative new builder of the luxury lodging development in Pine Lake at Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
After the flooding of 2015, remote parts of the Park were left undisturbed. That is, "until the day park rangers paused their exploration to note the curvature of the land. With their birds-eye view, the rangers envisioned a scenic route that would not only encompass the falls, but would allow visitors to enjoy some of the best features of the park." When Friends of Beavers Bend became involved with the idea, the "Friends Trail was born," as quoted in the recently released article in the McCurtain Gazette.
As the Developer and custom builder of the Pine Lake at Broken Bow resort community, Hurst Custom Homes is proud to be part of this historic addition to Beavers Bend State Park. Hurst Custom Homes supports the preservation and conservation of the natural beauty of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and is dedicated to supporting the efforts of our community to ensure that residents and visitors alike can enjoy the park for generations to come.
